Arrive in time to settle into your warm and welcoming room before enjoying hot mulled wine and
mince pies in the cosy bar and lounge. Your evening commences with a sparkling cocktail and
canapés reception where our General Manager and his team will inform you of the exciting threeday
programme that lies ahead.
We then make our way to the award-winning AA-rosette restaurant for an exquisite five-course
Gala dinner, followed by a magical, candlelit procession to the shores of lake Derwentwater.
Armed with a glass of Baileys hot chocolate in one hand and a sparkler in the other, enjoy the
beauty of the Lake District at night (weather permitting).
Later in the evening, don’t miss the Keswick Choir Christmas concert in the Market Square, outside
the hotel. The live music and lovely atmosphere is sure to get you in the festive spirit.

Our hearty Cumbrian breakfast on Christmas morning has added sparkle with a glass of Bucks
Fizz, and who knows, perhaps Santa will still be about!
Enjoy the morning at your leisure, whether you choose to relax at the hotel, take a stroll to the
lake to feed the ducks, or join in our Christmas treasure hunt around Keswick for the chance to
win a prize. Don’t forget to take part in our ‘Guess the weight of the Christmas cake’ competition.
After the Lakeland air has stimulated your appetite, it will be time to join us in the restaurant
where your orders will be taken for a sumptuous six-course Christmas Day lunch followed by
coffee and Christmas cake with the King's speech at 3pm.
In the evening, our fabulous Cumbrian ‘Lakes & Fells’ buffet will be served, allowing you to
sample some traditional local dishes prepared by our Head Chef and his team. With relaxation in
mind, we have prepared a fun Christmas quiz for a chance to win a prize.

After a truly traditional Cumbrian breakfast, wrap up warm and enjoy a guided walk to a scenic
location where you’ll be greeted with a welcoming hot and cold lunch buffet. Depending on
how energetic you feel, continue your walk and take in the scenery, or return to town and take
advantage of the Boxing Day sales.
In the afternoon enjoy a classic game of bingo for the chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Then, to give you a proper send off, enjoy a special mouth-watering, five-course farewell dinner
followed by an evening of relaxing live music in the atmospheric lounge bar.
