After settling into your comfortable room, an array of delicious cakes, delicately prepared finger sandwiches,
and much more await you in the conservatory for our gin afternoon tea.
In the evening, you are invited to a sparkling cocktail and canapés reception, hosted by our General Manager
and his team, before indulging in a magnificent four course dinner in one of our award-winning restaurants,
where you’ll be mesmerised by our close-up magician and balloonist.
After dinner, take a seat in one of the comfortable lounges for some fabulous music from our resident singer.

Prepare yourself for the forthcoming festivities with a hearty Cumbrian
breakfast and tempting cocktail. This is followed by a fun scavenger hunt
in our beautiful spa gardens, with a great prize for the overall winner! If the
outdoors doesn’t tempt you, stay warm and come along to our sushi or
champagne masterclasses, after which a light lunch buffet will be served.
As midnight draws closer, dress to impress and join us on the red carpet
to pose for a photo from our magic selfie mirror, a keepsake to take home
to remind you of your visit. The best dressed couple wins a bottle of
Champagne!
Tonight’s six course dinner has been prepared by Head Chef and his team,
offering you a unique dining experience to end the year in style - keep an
eye out for the piper! Afterwards, enjoy the live music and DJ with dancing
until the early hours. When the bell tolls midnight, ring in the New Year
with a glass of bubbly and a snack to keep the celebrations going.

There is no need to hurry down for breakfast this morning, as a fabulous hot & cold New Year’s Day jazz
brunch buffet will be served between 10am and 2pm. Our two kitchen teams have worked together to
offer a fusion of traditional English and exotic Asian inspired dishes.
Start with a Mimosa or spicy Bloody
Mary cocktail and relax as our jazz band brings the sounds of New Orleans to the hotel. If fresh air is
on the agenda, join our New Year’s Day guided walk to a local beauty spot (weather permitting) with a
glass of sloe gin to enjoy at the half way point.
Tea and crumpets with Cumberland rum butter will be served in the afternoon with a chance to guess
the weight of the gingerbread house with the winner earning a fabulous spa day for two. Then, finish
the night off with a four-course farewell dinner, before joining us at the James Bond casino tables,
where the first dry Martini, shaken not stirred, is on us. Have a flutter with fun money for a chance to
win a magnum of champagne.
